Learn to make an accordion fold, hard cover Sketchbook / Journal that incorporates various bookmaking techniques using decorative papers, stitched booklets, and folded pockets. Suitable for beginners as well as more experienced bookmakers. Bring together a group of your friends for a day of creative fun!
This is a 5 hour class that would be held in a place of your choice, within a 50 mile radius of Fitchburg, WI. (Mileage charge for further distances). Your group would be responsible for securing a suitable venue with table space of at least one 6-8’ table for each 2 enrollees.
Cost is $50 per person, minimum 6 people, maximum 12, plus a supply fee of $15/person.
Added supply fee of $15 includes all supplies except tools*. You may bring your own paste papers, gel prints, or decorative papers if you have some.
*Tools each person will need to bring: a table cover, bone folder, ruler, pencil, scissors, cutting mat, etc. Full tool list upon paid registration.
As a bookmaker, I have over 20 years of experience, having made artist books in a variety of structures and materials using both traditional and modern bookmaking techniques.
