About Me

Photography is the means of artistic expression I most enjoy. My subjects cover nature, landscape, architecture, and found objects. Capturing the interplay of light, transparency, color, and shadow on and through objects is always an enjoyable challenge. My travel hobby offers many opportunities for photography.

In addition to photography, I am also a watercolor artist, a handmade book maker, and interested in linocut printing, mono printing, collage, and more... I love to experiment with a variety of media.

Before I retired, I worked as a graphic artist, designing publications, logos, advertising materials, etc. for a marketing and design agency. During my career, I also worked as a graphic artist and designer for a manufacturer, a newspaper, and a non-profit organization. I received my BA from UW Oshkosh and continue taking photo and painting classes, and other art classes whenever possible.

I am a member of the Association of Wisconsin Artists, Oshkosh Fine Arts Association, Plato, and, for fun, participate in two informal art groups with artist friends.
